A doula is an emotional, physical, informational support and advocate supporting folks and families across the reproductive health spectrum. The Flow of Life Doula Collective is a collective of WNC doulas who offer comprehensive and un-biased support to their community.

A doula is an emotional, physical, informational support and advocate. A doula is a non-medical support person who is unbiased and non-judgmental in the care they provide. A doula offer families and people expert, individualized care and support through the whole spectrum of pregnancy. From preconception, to birth, to abortion, to miscarriage and loss, to adoption, to postpartum.

Doula services can range in cost anywhere from $800-$2,500 depending on the doula, their packages and experience level. Never let cost be a deterrent! Doulas services can be accessible to every family. For families seeking support in the cost of doula care ask about our community care fund.

Listen to your gut! Choosing a doula is often an intuitive process. You and your partner should feel connected, comfortable and at ease in the presence of the doula that’s right for your family. All doulas have a unique set of skills, personalities and services to offer.

A doula collective is (also known as a collaborative) is a model by which a group of doulas, who each sets up their own practice individually, comes together for representation and support from one another.
