“Flow of Life's embodied birth training was practical, informative and so much fun! I don't think I have ever participated in a training that left me as prepared and confident as this one! Not only did I immediately begin teaching prenatal yoga to my doula clients, but I also walked away with more confidence in my ability to physically and emotionally support birthing people through pregnancy, birth and postpartum as a doula. I highly recommend this training to anyone who works in the birth world. Roxy and Sue Ann are magical humans doing big work in the world!!”

“Sue Ann and Roxy have built a beautiful training series reflective of their passion and deep understanding of the pregnant person and their body. This training was integral for me in building a deeper understanding of functional movement, anatomy, and sequencing. With hours of videos, lectures, and personalized feedback, their training was educationally rich. They were very responsive to all assignments and provided collaborative feedback, which helped me feel very connected in a virtual setting. They offer access to all their videos post training, so you can always go back and rewatch to continue to refine, refresh and grow your own practice. I'm excited to take forward what they have taught me and to continue to engage over and over again with the content provided. Thank you for a thorough, informative, and exciting training. Pregnant people deserve all the support and this training is one step in that direction!”

Learn About Our Faculty
Why choose the Embodied Birth Prenatal Yoga Teacher + Doula Training?
Fact-based, inclusive childbirth education: Our course will include childbirth education that is designed to give yoga teachers access to accurate and up to date information about childbirth.
Community: Throughout the Flow of Life training, trainees will feel the value of community. We believe that strong communities lead to healthy pregnancies and families. This training will demonstrate how to hold spaces for people in all stages of pregnancy.
Functional Movement Practice: We approach yoga asanas based on functional anatomy. Our trainees will learn:
Why some asanas are beneficial for pregnancy
Why some asanas are not beneficial for pregnancy
How to alleviate common pregnancy aches and pains
Pelvic Floor health
Tools to relieve discomfort and develop coping skills
"A lot of my trainings have offered SO much knowledge, but less on how to structure a class. . . . [This training was] informative, engaging, well-structured, dynamic, and PRACTICAL."
—Brooke G., Recent Graduate
