Sue Ann has dedicated herself to yoga since 2012. Her passion is to help students feel stronger in their bodies and more connected to their hearts. Sue Ann’s classes mix functional movement, philosophy and body | heart | mind alignment. With a deep understanding of movement, she is able to guide students more fully into their own bodies. Sue Ann is deeply grateful for her time studying and practicing at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. She is the co- owner and lead instructor at Flow of Life Yoga in North Carolina. Sue Ann holds an 800 hour Vijnana Yoga Certificate, and a 500 hour Yoga Alliance Certificate.
Sue Ann’s prenatal yoga teaching journey began at West Asheville Yoga Studio. She witnessed the beauty and connection that Cat Matlock and Roxy Robbins, two senior Prenatal Yoga Teachers, brought to the community. Under their guidance, teaching private and group prenatal classes quickly became a passion. Throughout her own pregnancy, yoga and the yoga community were essential for Sue Ann. Prenatal Yoga and embodied childbirth education strengthened her connection with her own body, her baby and her community. She feels honored to share these teachings and to walk alongside others on the transformational experience of parenthood.
