Lainie is an Asheville-based, full spectrum doula and offers care to families in pregnancy, birth, and beyond. She comes to this work with well over a decade of experience in supporting families with infants through toddler age.

As she witnessed growing families in their homes through nannying and postpartum care, she cultivated intimate, tender, and connected relationships with the entire family. Through this work she was inspired to become a birthworker and continues to be deeply enamored and in awe of the process of giving birth and the innate power that birthing people have. 

Lainie feels it is a great honor each and every time she is able to witness new life being gifted into this world, and strives to meet each birthing person where they are at, seamlessly weaving support into each and every moment throughout the birth and postpartum journey. 

Lainie is an inclusive and affirming care provider for all birthing bodies and family structures. She values empowerment and aims to amplify the wisdom of movement and the intuitive connection to one's own body. She shows her love and care through music, food, deep companionship, and always bringing her sense of humor along for the ride.
