Meet Mimi:
Mimi is a birth doula, passionate about reproductive justice and holistic health modalities. Her background in cultural and medical anthropology is foundational to her perspective on health, tradition, transformative justice, and the holistic body. Her approach as a doula is rooted in the belief that we all hold innate wisdom and intuition in our bodies and that every living being deserves to be heard, seen, and supported. She strives to encourage active listening in the body and hopes to guide people through ways to deepen their connection between mind, body, and soul through breathwork, meditation, and somatic modalities. Mimi is passionate about providing care through a practice in radical love, empathy, and acceptance. She is especially interested and attuned to working with people experiencing perinatal loss, in all of its forms, and is invested in creating intentional space and time to honor that process.
Mimi approaches her work with a trauma-informed, gender affirmative, anti-racist foundation and will strive to always honor your autonomy and choice. It is an immense honor and privilege to witness this transformative time in people’s lives. Mimi operates on a sliding scale, tiered pricing system to provide accessibility, please reach out to her if you have any questions about this structure!
