I have been working with birthing families since 2001.  I  began my journey as a midwifery student, and discovered that doula work was where my heart was most aligned.  Being able to bring warmth and advocacy into any birth environment became really important to the care I could give to families during their perinatal period.  I’ve worked as midwifery student, then birth assistant and later, in 2004 began my own practice as a doula and licensed massage therapist.  I absolutely love my work, and feel that what I offer to families is gentle, nurturing support by reminding them that they are the center of their baby’s birth and this life changing transition. 
I am a LMBT NC 16593, Birthing From Within ©️trained educator, as well as studying Ayurvedic postpartum, womb care, and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist.
